Murray Recognized with Third Employee Ownership Communications Award
small logoQUARRYVILLE -- Murray Risk Management and Insurance, is the recipient of the national ESOP Association’s 2008 Annual Awards for Communication Excellence (AACE) in the category of Educational Materials, ESOP Intranet. Winners in this category are recognized for their educational efforts to inform employee owners about how their ESOP works or about company finances, new employee orientation, training classes and other ESOP-related communications.

The AACE Awards recognize the outstanding communications program of The Association’s members and winners are chosen by a panel of five judges made up of both management and non-management employee owners. The ESOP Association AACE Awards consist of 14 different award categories and 14 companies across the United States receive top honors. Murray was also earned AACE awards in 2002 and 2003.. Murray established its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in 1994.

The ESOP Association, based in Washington, D.C., is the only national, non-profit association dedicated to employee ownership with a focus on ESOPs and employee ownership. Companies with employee ownership and service providers with a professional commitment to these plans form the Association's membership. The Association is the prime source of educational materials and meetings necessary for the successful management of employee-owned companies. Companies and service providers rely on the Association to be their voice in the nation’s capital. The Association is the leading advocate before Congress and regulatory agencies for employee ownership laws.
