Paul Risk Associates, Inc. Wins Excellence in Construction Award
QUARRYVILLE -- The National Associated Builders (ABC) has awarded Paul Risk Associates, Inc., (PRA) of Quarryville, with a “Contractors Excellence in Construction Award” for their work as General Contractor in the commercial, $5 to $10 million category, on the Chatham Financial Services Corporate Headquarters in Kennett Square, PA. The ABC excellence awards recognize outstanding quality and innovations in merit shop construction projects.

Features of Chatham’s 30,000 square foot barn-style office building include timber-frame and turnbuckle roof system, and individual temperature-controlled data stations for 100 employees. Construction included water, sewer and electrical across a new cast-in-place concrete bridge, and finding stone to match the existing adjoining stone farmhouse. Some unusual building materials were used including timber frame, a silo, a boulder wall and an access floor.

States Glenn A. Bauer of Chatham Financial, “visitors continually comment on the quality of our building...Fit and finish are great...We recommend PRA to anyone who needs a quality building at a reasonable price.”

Paul Risk Associates, Inc. is a 75-year old, family run Design/Build firm headquartered in Quarryville, PA. A glance around the Southern End reveals many projects of Paul Risk Associates.
