BART -- The Bart Fire Company held its 44th Bart Fire Co. Mud Sale. Photo by Mary EckmanAnnual Mud Sale Saturday amid a beautiful clear - yet chilly - day. Hundreds of Amish and English alike made the annual pilgrimage to the Bart Fire Company on what historically begins the Mud Sale Season.

If you are looking for quilts, crafts, antiques, building materials, horses, sheds, farm equipment, buggies, tools, even groceries - you need to stop by one or more of the upcoming mud sales.

The sales continue this weekend at Gordonville and then, on March 15, back to Bart for the second half of its annual sale! On March 15th, Bart Fire Company will hold its Building Materials Sale.

On March 22 (yes - the day before Easter), the Gap Fire Company will hold its 32nd Annual Spring Sale. On April 5, the Robert Fulton Fire Company, in Wakefield, will hold its 8th Annual Spring Sale.
