Quarryville Lions Club Names Officers
QUARRYVILLE
-- When Quarryville Lions Club members return from the summer break, a new line up of officers will take over for the 2008-2009 term.
Gerald Wagner will serve as president. Wagner, a resident of Quarryville, replaces Joanne Black, the first woman president to serve the Quarryville Lions Club.
Other officers include: First Vice President – Stuart Mylin; Second Vice President – John McCrae; Third Vice President – Roxanne Todd; Secretary – Joanne Black; Assistant Secretary/Treasurer – Carlton Groff; and Treasurer – Dennis Lefever.
Howard Hall will serve as Lion Tamer.
Ralph Dubree and Robert Adams will serve as Tail Twisters. Directors include: Steve Grosh and Dan Sullivan - one-year; Gail Wireback and Donald Unger – two-year directors. Nominating Committee members include: Penny Mylin - chairperson; Barbara “Babs” Herr – vice chairperson; and Ronald Fichtner – committee member.
Quarryville Lions Club meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Black Rock Retreat. New members are always welcome. Contact any member for additional information.
