Located in Strasburg, Lancaster County, PA and Branson, MO, Sight & Sound is a year-round, state of the art, professional theatre company dedicated to presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ by visualizing and dramatizing the scriptures through inspirational productions. Ephrata Artist Takes First Place in the Watercolor Category in the Lancaster County Art Association’s National Juried Exhibition STRASBURG
-- Twenty-four awards were presented to artists for artwork in five media categories at the Lancaster County Art Association’s National Juried Exhibit which opened with a reception on Sunday, June 8. Local artists were the recipients of several of the awards with Ephrata’s Diane Goble winning First Place for her dramatic rendition of flames in watercolor. Best of Show was won by Brooklyn artist Tiana Peterson for her sculptural piece composed of an arrangement of red cloth bound books on the architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The arrangement was evocative of cantilevered buildings designed by Wright.

has lots of summer activities for the kids and many things for adults. A couple key things to look forward too is
the Summer Rec Programs for kids 3-12 years old.
The 9th annual LSRC Golf Outing at Crossgates Golf Course in Millersville
will be held on June 13th.
One big new activity upcoming in the fall is the start of a Youth Flag Football league for ages 5-15.

Boyd to Honor Local Girl Scouts for
Community Service

Rep. Scott Boyd (R-West Lampeter) will be honoring the members of local Girl Scout Troop 174 for their work to support residents of the Water Street Rescue Mission.
Members of Troop 174 have earned the highest award, the Girl Scout Bronze Award, made available to Junior Girl Scouts. The award is in recognition of the group's work in creating and delivering "backpacks for the homeless," special gifts for residents at the downtown ministry.
