Student Accepted into Governor's
School for Agricultural Science
QUARRYVILLE -- Chris Smyth, an outstanding 11th grade student at
Solanco High School, has applied and been accepted into the Governor's
School for Agricultural Science. Chris is a student in the Solanco gifted
program, plays the trumpet in many of the school's musical groups, and also
plays soccer. Chris' career goal is to be a marine biologist; part of the
Governor's School for Agricultural Science is dedicated to environmental
studies.
