BART TOWNSHIP -- A
family friend read a prepared statement from the widow of
Charles Carl Roberts, IV, the lone gunman in today's shooting at
Nickel Mines Amish school. Dwight Lefever, pictured at left, fought to retain his
composure as he read a statement from Marie Roberts, widow of
the shooter. The shooter is shown at left.In the statement, she said, "The man who did this today was not the man we knew."
"Please pray. Pray for the families who lost children and pray for our family," read Lefever.
The Roberts were married for 10 years, according to the statement. They have three young children at home.
