David O. Blevins
David O. Blevins, age 67, of 490 Little Britain Church Road, Peach Bottom, PA died Friday afternoon at Life Care Hospital in West Chester, PA. He and his wife Mary Boone Blevins were married November 11, 1960. He was born in Grayson County, VA a son of the late Oscar L. and Minnie P. Sheets Blevins. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Peach Bottom, PA. He had been formerly employed by Hinkle and McCoy. Surviving beside his wife are two brothers, Tracy married to Martha Blevins of Quarryville, Clarence “Pete” married to Michelle Blevins of Peach Bottom; three sisters, Pauline married to James Duvall of Rising Sun, MD, Mary Perkins of Lancaster, and Margaret married to Barry Axe of Quarryville. David was preceded in death by his brothers James, Walter, and Steven. Funeral services will be held from the Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Bethesda United Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00AM until the time of service.
