Mary Isabelle Frey
Mary Isabelle Frey, age 92, formerly of 809 North Shippen Street, Lancaster died Wednesday (January 16) afternoon at Manor Care, Lancaster. She was the widow of Warren H. Frey who died June 28, 1972. Mrs. Frey was born in Little Britain Township, a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Collins Steele. She was a 1938 graduate of the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at Lancaster General Hospital. Isabelle was a former member of Little Britain Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Brown and Helen I. married to Alan D. Bunteman, both of Lancaster; a sister Ruth Ann Ebert of West Chester, OH; 9 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Kaitlyn Brown; three brothers, Harry Steele, James Steele and Collins Steele; and two sisters Margaret Swarr and Sara Callis. Funeral services will be held from the Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Monday at 11:00AM with Rev. Robert G. Hunsicker officiating. Interment will follow in Little Britain Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00AM until the time of service. Kindly omit flowers.
