Mary H. Jackson
Mary H. Jackson, 90, of, Quarryville, Pa, died on Friday May 30, 2008 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late F. Stanley Jackson who died in 1994. Mary was employed for over 50 years as a checker for her families grocery store, Ferguson & Hassler's, in Quarryville. She was a member of St. Paul’s Church, Quarryville. She was born in Quarryville, daughter of the late George and Elsie Fritz Hassler. Mary is survived by; her daughter Judith wife of Carlton L. Rintz of Millersville, Pa, her son F. Stanley “Spike” Jackson, Jr. of Memphis, TN, her grandson Carlton "Herk" L. Rintz , 2 great grandsons, brother Thurston, husband of Jane Hassler of Quarryville, and her sister Janet M. Hassler of Quincy, MA. She was predeceased by; brothers Leighton, Clifton, and Hampton Hassler, and sisters; Anna Miller and Ruth Hassler. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Church, 1 West Fourth Street, Quarryville on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Edward Saul officiating. Friends may greet the family following the memorial service at the church. Private burial in the Quarryville Cemetery.
