Helen I. Kreider
Helen I. Kreider, age 86, of 24 Refton Road, Willow Street, died peacefully in her sleep early Friday morning at her residence. She was the widow of John M. Kreider, Jr. who died November 20, 1996. Helen was born in Strasburg Township a daughter of the late Chester Groff and Elsie Bowman Eshleman. A homemaker, she was a member of Lampeter United Methodist Church and the Refton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and crocheting. Helen is survived by two children, John M. Kreider, III and Patsy L. married to Harry J. Davis, III, both of Willow Street; two grandchildren, Robin L. married to Mark E. Henry of New Providence and Michael T. Davis companion of Kim Kauffman of Conestoga; 7 great grandchildren; and a brother Richard Eshleman of New Providence. Funeral services will be held from the Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on. Tuesday at 10:00AM with Pastor David Nissly officiating. Interment will follow in Quarryville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00AM until the time of service. Kindly omit flowers.
