Elizabeth S. Lamberson, 67, of 231 Douts Hill Road, Holtwood, Pa, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Roy E. Lamberson. They had celebrated 49 years of marriage.
Elizabeth had retired as an executive housekeeper for Host Resort, Lancaster. She was a member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo, bird watching, and going to Delaware Park.
She was born in New York, daughter of Minnie Lechner of Holtwood, and the late Joseph Lechner.
In addition to her mother and husband, Elizabeth is survived by a son; Rory, married to Debra Lamberson of Columbia, Pa, 2 daughter’s; Lori, married to Rodney Smith of Holtwood, Kelly Poulos, of Buffalo, NY, 4 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, brother’s; David married to Carmella Lechner of Holtwood, Leonard married to Joanne Lechner, NY, Arthur married to Maureen Lechner, FL, sister’s; Audrey Player, and Doris married to Ned Burlew, both of NY, Marlene married to Hubert Foster, OK, sister in law Norma Lechner of Willow Street, and Patricia Lechner of Holtwood, brother in law Terry Faulds, Marticville. She was predeceased by brothers; Joseph and Tom Lechner, and brother in law Russell Player.
The Funeral Service will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, Pa on Friday, August 8, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Len Calhoun officiating. The burial will be in Bethesda United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:30-8:30 PM, and one half hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.
