Dennis Lewis
Dennis W. Lewis. age 51, of 1453 Glen Moore Circle, Lancaster, PA died unexpectedly Tuesday morning
(December 18) of natural causes at Lancaster General Hospital. He was born in Lancaster a son of Esther H. Booth Megahan of Lancaster and Quincy Lewis, Jr. Dennis worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years as an operations manager for Eastern Lancaster County. He also owned and operated Cross Blade Lawn Service. He served in the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer aboard the USS Richmond K. Turner. He attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Peach Bottom. Active in community service, he volunteered at Oasis Youth Services in Manheim, was a member of Manheim Rotary and was a life long member of Rawlinsville Camp Meeting Association. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and swimming. Surviving beside his mother Esther are a son Daniel of Lancaster; a brother Dwight H. Lewis of Lancaster; a sister Pamela L. Lewis of Quarryville; and a niece Ashley L. Carroll of Lancaster. Funeral services will be held from the Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Saturday at 3:00PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8:00PM and again on Saturday form 2:00PM until the time of service. Interment in Mt Zion United Methodist Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
