Dorothy "Dottie" Miller
Dorothy E. Miller, age 73, of 231 East State Street, Quarryville, PA died on Sunday afternoon (December 23) at her residence of natural causes. She and her husband I. Diller “Ike” Miller were married for 25 years this past December 2006. Dottie was born in Delaware County, a daughter of the late Leslie George and Ruth Caldwell Widdowson. She was in partnership with her husband in the Original I. Diller Miller Monument Company, Quarryville. Dottie was a member of the New Brunswick Salmon organization, the match box and train collector association, and the National Train Collectors Association. She enjoyed traveling with her close friends Bob and Erma Work.

Surviving beside her husband are 5 children, Debbie wife of Richard LeFlar of Brookhaven, Donna Lee wife of Gary Thomas of San Jose, CA, William John husband of Susan Atz of Washington, DC, Thomas Edward husband of Beverly Atz of Wallingford, Richard Scott husband of Charlene Atz of Omaha, NE; 8 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Betty wife of Charles Temple of Quarryville, Joyce wife of Paul McOuch of Temple; 2 Brothers, David Lee husband of Jerry Widdowson of Willow Street, and Donald husband of Patricia Widdowson of Perry County. Dottie was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Leslie George, II and Gilbert and a step-son I. Diller Miller, III. Funeral services will be held from the Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, Dec. 29th at 11:00AM with Rev. Dr. James Haun officiating. Interment will follow in Quarryville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 7:00-9:00PM and again on Saturday from 10:00Am until the time of service. Kindly omit flowers.
