Rev. John Boone Morrison
Rev. John B. Morrison, age 97, died Thursday evening (November 29) at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community where he resided since 1991. He was the husband of Ruthe T. Spinnanger Morrison. John was preceded in death by his first wife Florence Glover Morrison and his second wife Grace W. Shelley Morrison. Rev. Morrison was an ordained Baptist minister serving several churches. From 1965-75 he also served as chaplain at the York Alcoholic Rehabilitation Facility. Surviving beside his wife are two sons, Robert G. Morrison of Ft. Washington, PA and J. William Morrison of Grand Rapids, MI; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held from the Ellingsworth Auditorium at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, 625 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, December 15th at 11:00AM. Interment will be private in Greenmount Cemetery, Dover, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rev.
