Helen Trimble
Helen E. Trimble, age 93, of 1734 Temple Avenue, Lancaster, PA died Tuesday morning at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the widow of Giles M. Trimble who died March 14, 1998. Helen was born in Drumore Township a daughter of the late John L. and Elizabeth Zink Trimble. Helen retired as a sales clerk from the former Adler’s Store in Lancaster after 30 years and then worked for Dollar General Store in Wheatland Shopping Center after retirement. She was an inactive member of Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church, Quarryville. Helen was an avid gardener around her home and also enjoyed cooking. She is survived by two children, Levis A. “Mike” Trimble and Jacquelene married to Brian Dunkle, both of Lancaster; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son William G. Trimble. Funeral services will be held from the Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Saturday at 2:00PM with Rev. Michael R. Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00PM until the time of service.
