Kersey W. Trimble, age 81, of 88 Woods Drive, New Providence, PA died Friday evening
(August 7, 2008) at his residence. He and his wife, Suie L. Snyder Trimble would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on August 14th. Kersey was born in Bart Township a son of the late Kersey F. and Belva Rineer Trimble. He retired from Kerr Glass after 43 years of service where he was employed as a cork cutter. Surviving beside his wife are four children, Diana Lefever of Conestoga, George Trimble of Holtwood, Gerald Trimble of New Providence, and Cindy Findley of Quarryville; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Kersey was preceded in death by two daughters, Susanna Wolf and Patricia Trimble, a brother George Trimble and a sister Patricia Trimble. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurse’s of Hospice of Lancaster County and the Visiting Nurses Association for the great care they gave Kersey. Funeral services will be held from the Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Wednesday, August 13th at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in New Providence Mennonite Cemetery.
