Sarah Emma Watson
Sarah Emma Watson, 84, of 6 Ridge View Drive, Pequea, Pa, formerly of Holtwood, Pa, loving wife and mother, entered into rest Thursday, May 8, 2009. She was born May 9, 1923, daughter of the late Gilpon and Bessie Swift. She was the wife of the late Guy Watson. Sarah was a member of Colerain Baptist Church. She had been the manager of the Hillside Mobil Home Park for 32 years. She enjoyed birds, flowers, her dogs and drives in the country. Sarah is survived by seven daughters; Peggy Watson, CT, Nancy Ortiz, OH, Della, married to David McMillen, Holtwood, Lucy, married to Roger Hartsoe, Pequea, Alice Reinhart, Lancaster, Selma Batory, Denver, Pa, and Susie Devonshire, Holtwood. 18 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, brother-in-law and care-giver Richard Mayer, Pequea, and brother; Thomas Swift of Lancaster. She was predeceased by her son and daughter; George Watson, and Janet Blevins, seven brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, May 12, 2008, 11:00 A.M. at the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Cemetery, 1199 Valley Road, Quarryville, PA.
