Edna Wiggins
Edna Carpenter Wiggins, 91, of Calvary Fellowship Homes, Lancaster, PA, died on Saturday, January 12, 2008. She was born in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late John M. and Irene Briggs Carpenter. She was the wife of the late Ross W. Wiggins, Jr. who died in 1976. Their only child, a son, Ross W. Wiggins, III died January, 2007. Edna graduated from Drexel University in 1937. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lancaster, the Bethany Circle of the church and the United Methodist Women. She was active with the Water Street Rescue Mission Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Joy Windle of Fallowfield, PA, a few cousins and many friends. The Graveside Service will be held at Marticville United Methodist Cemetery, 641 Marticville Road, Martic Twp. on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor David Myers officiating. The burial will be in Marticville United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 29 E.
