Community Action Program (CAP)
CAP is a private non-profit human services and community development corporation. Their mission is to assist low income families to become self sufficient and less dependent upon public assistance. Locally, CAP is located in the Herr Business Center on Buck Road (Route 372) just west of the Borough. For more information, call

Alcoholics Anonymous
If you have a substance abuse problem, Alcoholics Anonymous may be the answer. For more information call (717)393-43238.

Al-Anon
Al-Anon is a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who meet anonymously to share their experiences, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems. Meetings are held in New Providence on Fridays at Zion United Church of Christ, 900 Winter Hill Road, from 7 to 8 p.m. For more information call (800)671-5994

Nar-Anon Family Group
If a family member has a substance abuse problem, Nar-Anon Family Group may be the answer. For more information call (717)285-2909.

Outpatient Counseling Help
The Naaman Center offers a Christian-oriented, 12 step approach. The Center offers outpatient programs for alcohol and drug addictions. It is located in Quarryville at 248-A Maple Avenue. They can be reached at (717)806-7401.

Solanco Meals on Wheels
Solanco Meals on Wheels provides a food service for the elderly, the convalescent and the handicapped. Call 717-284-4396 for more information.

Solanco Food Bank
Solanco Food Bank is located at the Herr's Business Plaza (next to the Quarryville Library). Food drop off hours are Mon. - Fri. 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Call 717-786-4308 for more information.

Support Group for Widows
Widow2Widow is a support group for widows, which meets at NEW HOPE Community Life Ministry, 248A Maple Ave., Quarryville. Call NEW HOPE for more info, 717-786-2802.
