Rep. Cutler's office saw a total monthly
expense of $4752.75. His average monthly expenses is $4,237.50. The
office remains fiscally sound.
The report, as it does each month, does not include Rep. Cutler’s salary or the salaries of his staff. These expenses are paid from a different account out of Harrisburg.
Mileage was higher than usual this month. This was due to the personal delivery to each high school within the District of the congratulations letter to every recent graduate. The high schools are: Octorara, Conestoga Valley, Pequea Valley, Lampeter-Strasburg, Penn Manor and of course Solanco. The printing of new stationary and the notary fee was due a name change for Chief of Staff Jessica Keefer, formerly Blantz.
Postage was also higher than usual - or expected - last month. This was due to a constituent concern that led to a focused mailing. A constituent wanted to confirm that senior citizens with an income of less than $19,200 can pay a lower rate for their first vehicle registration with PennDOT. With 5,800 senior citizens - keep in mind this figure is only the number of registered voters - in the District, the District Office decided to put out a mailer to senior citizens highlighting the benefits and services available for them. The car registration incidentally is just $10 and is only available for the first vehicle.
The District Office is a resource center for all Pennsylvania governmental forms and issues. Rep. Cutler and his staff can assist with Driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and renewals; PennDOT paperwork (lost cards, changes, corrections, special registration plates, vanity plates, and temporary placards for disabled persons); Copies of birth and death certificates; PACE and PACENET
applications for seniors; Copies and analysis of state legislation;
Information on unemployment claims; and Information on all Pennsylvania
state agencies and departments.
The Office can also provide access to all Pennsylvania state tax forms; applications for state higher education grants; applications for state and civil service jobs; assistance with Property Tax/Rent Rebate forms; setup of State Capitol tours; and provide free state maps, state park information and Pennsylvania vacation guides
Notary services are also offered free of charge, with the expectation of
vehicle tags.
