I understand some people are looking forward to the Drumore Crossing coming to the Buck, but how would you like it if it’s in your front yard and using well water? I think a lot of people do not understand that the shopping center will be using WELL WATER because there is no public water supplied to the Buck area. Patty, how would you like it if their was a shopping center put in your front yard and some morning you walk out to water your horses and there is no water to be had because the Shopping Center has drained your well water? I just want everyone to ask themselves how they can knowingly want this shopping center knowing the community may be without well water. It would cost the township millions of dollars to install public water and sewage to the Buck area. If we had public water at the Buck, I would not be so against it, but since this is well water that is to furnish 2 large box stores and 25 smaller retail stores, I do not see how it could be sustained on well water. Also there is no public sewage system, so where is all the runoff and sewage from this shopping center going to go???? I moved to the county to get away from this. All I have to do is get in my car and drive 25 minutes and I have all the shopping and restaurants I need.
I only ask that if you have a well and want this shopping center how you would feel knowing you may not have any water to drink or wash your clothing, how would you react to the shopping center?
