Save Our Rural Community Environment is continuing our "Partnership Campaign" for 2006, in conjunction with various fundraising activities. We need 200 people to commit to $10/month, enterprises welcomed as well. This combination has been successful and is necessary in meeting the many ongoing legal challenges and the expenses they incur. Your monthly Partnership contributions have been vital in helping us accomplish many great things over the past 3 years. Numerous negative impacts on our rural community, environment, water supply and quality, traffic and other safety issues, have been revealed. In essence, we have been the instrument through which the voice of the people has been heard. Through the efforts of local experts, The Lancaster County Conservancy and many hours of research on our part, there is a greater awareness of how our natural resources, farming community and locally owned small business are interdependent on each other. It is this delicate balance that makes us so rare and unique.
You can make a difference! Don't allow a deep pocketed, high powered corporation to silence your voice, influence community organizations or your supervisors! Now is the time to be involved and to send your support. There have been so many great things accomplished in The Southern End over the past 3 years. Now is not the time to be faint-hearted or quit, when we are so close to obtaining our goal ~~~~~
Preservation Of Our Rural Community, Environment and Quality Of Life! It is a lifestyle to be cherished and protected, as well as preserved for future generations. Anything worthwhile requires sacrifice. Will you stand by and expect "others" to send aid or will you take ownership of the treasure you have and do / give whatever you can to save it?
