Neighbors In Uniform Response
I am writing in regards to the April 12, 2007 posting of Neighbors in Uniform. I would just like to inform you that things like deployment schedules and return dates are not to be released to the public like this. I know it seems like harmless information but in the wrong hands it could be very bad. It is in violation of our Opsec ( Operational Security) to give that information out this far in advance to the ships return. I am sorry if it seems like I am being a jerk but after what happened at Fort Dix, we cant afford to let things like this slide.

Believe me I am happy to learn about new shipmates from my home town, I would just hate to see great news like this become part of a bigger picture. Thank you for your time and I hope you take this into consideration.
