Police Respond to One
Vehicle Crash
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP -- State Police were called out to a one
vehicle crash along Route 472 Saturday which sent a Quarryville
man to the hospital. Christopher Smyth, 47, was headed north on
Route 472 when he lost control of his 1994 Geo Metro, according
to Tpr. Jason Laudermilch. He went down an embankment and the
Metro rolled onto its roof. Smyth was transported to Lancaster
General Hospital by Susquehanna Valley EMS. He suffered moderate
injuries. Quarryville Fire department assisted on scene. The
crash occurred about 100 yards north of Lakeview Road at 10:27
p.m. on Saturday, June 14.
