Cyclist Hurt in Hit and
Run
EAST DRUMORE TOWNSHIP -- State Police were called out to Dry
Wells Road Sunday morning for a vehicle accident. A Harley
Davidson Street Glider was traveling west on Dry Wells
Road when someone in a Toyota Corolla attempted to pass on the
left on a left curve. The Toyota sideswiped the Harley,
according to Tpr. Kelly Osborne-Filson. The driver of the Toyota
fled the scene. The Harley driver suffered minor injuries while
the Harley sustained minor damage. Charges will be filed against
the driver of the Toyota for reckless driving. The incident
occurred at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, June 22. Tpr. Osborne-Filson did
not release the name of the injured driver.
