Coroner Confirms
Accidental Drowning

BART TOWNSHIP -- Lancaster County Coroner Stephen Diamantoni
yesterday confirmed that Elam Beiler, the 22 month old son of
Jesse and Barbara Fisher Beiler, drowned. His funeral is this
morning.
"The cause of death was fresh-water
drowning," said Dr. Diamantoni. "The nature was accidental."
Beiler drowned Tuesday
morning on a farm at 1045 Vintage Road in Bart Township. The child was playing outside when he fell into a trough of water
and died, according to State Police. He was found by his mother. EMS personnel responded
and found the child already passed.
He is
survived by his parents
as well as a brother: Aaron F. Beiler at home, maternal grandparents: Ephraim & Barbara Esh Fisher of Kirkwood, paternal grandparents: Menno & Miriam Zook Beiler of Christiana, maternal great grandmother: Fannie Blank Esh of Christiana, paternal great grandparents: Aaron & Elizabeth Esh Beiler of Christiana, Aaron & Mattie Miller Zook of Strasburg.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 9 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, from the late home 1045 Vintage Road, Quarryville. Interment will be in the Fisher’s Amish Cemetery.
